Bitty & Beau’s Coffee – Waco is a franchised location of Bitty & Beau’s Coffee, which was established in 2016 in Wilmington, NC. The Bitty & Beau’s story is compelling!
Like all Bitty & Beau’s locations, the Waco shop is a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop. Naturally we offer delicious coffee, tea, smoothies, frappe’s, and treats, but we’re also out to help people change the way they see other people. We have more than 24 front line employees, all with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities such as Down syndrome, autism, TBI, etc. These are the folks who will take your order, make your drinks, and deliver them to you. All of our employees love their jobs at Bitty & Beau’s, and bring a contagious joy with them to work every day. We celebrate with dance parties and karaoke 3-4 times per day, and love to celebrate customer birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events. Customers tell us that Bitty & Beau’s is the “Happiest Place in Waco”, and indeed, with over 450 Google reviews we enjoy the highest ratings of any of the many coffee shops in Waco.
Bitty & Beau’s Waco opened in November of 2021 and is located at 110 Franklin Ave in Waco, near Spice Village, the Suspension Bridge, and all the other downtown Waco attractions. Franchise owners Mark & Amy Sauer moved to Waco in May of 2021 to open the Bitty & Beau’s shop as part of their retirement plan. Both of their daughters went to Baylor University, and both met their husbands at Baylor, so Waco has been a special place for them since 2007.
